Shorter Hair
The general InStyler reviews consensus by women is that it just would not be suitable for women with very short hair. The barrel of the InStyler is thick enough to prevent you getting right up to the roots.
Noise
Many women complained that having only used a still flat iron before the InStyler, they were quite put off with the noise of the rotating barrel during use. However, most did go onto say that having used the InStyler for a while, they tend to get used to it.

The barrel of the InStyler hair iron is heated and does get hot. Unfortunately, the design does not come with any sort of protection guard, so some women have reported that they have burned their skin when it has touched. Many women do say, in fairness, that after getting used to using it they feel that this should not really pose a problem in the future.
